How It Works
OXOCO generates unique QR codes for each table. When customers scan the code with their phone, they can browse your menu and place orders directly - no app download needed.
Setting Up QR Ordering
- Create Tables - Each table automatically gets a QR code
- Print QR Codes - Download and print the codes from the Tables section
- Place on Tables - Put the printed codes on each table
- Customers Scan - They open the menu on their phone
What Customers See
When a customer scans a table QR code:
- Menu Page - Your full menu with categories, items, and photos
- Language Selector - Switch between Khmer and English
- Item Details - Tap an item to see description, modifiers, and price
- Cart - A floating button shows the cart with a badge count
- Checkout - Review order and submit
Menu Display
The customer menu is mobile-optimized:
- Categories appear as tabs at the top
- Items show name, price, and photo (if uploaded)
- Bilingual display based on the customer's language selection
- Items that are out of stock show as unavailable
Order Submission
When a customer submits an order:
- The order appears in the POS
- The order appears on the KDS
- The table status updates to "Occupied"
- Staff can see which table placed the order
QR for Takeaway
You can also create a generic QR code for takeaway orders:
- Share the code at your counter or on social media
- Customers scan and order without a table assignment
- Orders arrive in the POS as "Takeaway" type
