Processing Payments

Accept payments and close orders in the OXOCO POS

Payment Methods

OXOCO supports multiple payment methods:

Method Description
Cash Physical cash with change calculation
Card Credit/debit card via integrated terminal
Mobile Mobile payment apps (ABA, Wing, etc.)
Split Combine multiple methods for one order

Taking a Cash Payment

  1. With items in the cart, tap Pay
  2. Select Cash
  3. Enter the amount received
  4. The system calculates change due
  5. Tap Complete to finalize

Taking a Card Payment

  1. Tap Pay and select Card
  2. The amount is sent to the card terminal
  3. Customer taps or inserts their card
  4. Once approved, the order is marked as paid

Split Payments

When a customer wants to split the bill:

  1. Tap Pay and select Split Payment
  2. Enter the amount for the first payment method
  3. Choose the payment method (cash, card, etc.)
  4. Add additional payment methods for the remaining balance
  5. Complete when the full amount is covered

Partial Payments

For situations where payment will be completed later:

  1. Take the partial payment as usual
  2. The remaining balance is tracked on the order
  3. When the customer returns, open the order and pay the balance

Discounts

Apply discounts before processing payment:

  1. In the cart, tap Discount
  2. Choose percentage or fixed amount
  3. Enter the discount value
  4. The total updates automatically

Refunds

To refund a completed order:

  1. Find the order in Orders list
  2. Open the order details
  3. Tap Refund
  4. Select full or partial refund
  5. Confirm the refund
