Three Order Types
OXOCO supports three ways to serve customers:
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Dine-in | Customer eats at a table in your venue |
| Takeaway | Customer picks up the order to go |
| Delivery | Order is delivered to the customer's location |
Dine-In Orders
The default order type when a table is selected:
- Select a table in the POS
- Add items to the cart
- Submit the order
- The table status changes to "Occupied"
- Food is served at the table
Takeaway Orders
For customers who want to take their food:
- In the POS, tap Takeaway instead of selecting a table
- Add items to the cart
- Submit the order
- On the KDS, the order shows as "Takeaway"
- Package the order for pickup
Delivery Orders
For orders that need to be delivered:
- In the POS, tap Delivery
- Enter the customer's delivery address
- The delivery fee is calculated based on the zone
- Add items and submit
- On the KDS, the order shows as "Delivery"
KDS View Modes
The KDS can filter orders by type:
- All - See every order
- Dine-in - Only table orders
- Takeaway - Only pickup orders
- Delivery - Only delivery orders
This helps kitchen staff prioritize when different order types have different timing needs.
Customer QR Ordering
Customers can also specify their order type:
- Scanning a table QR code defaults to Dine-in
- A general menu link can offer Takeaway or Delivery options
