POS Issues

Items not showing in the menu

Problem: Some items don't appear in the POS menu.

Solutions:

  • Check the item is marked as Available in Menu > Items
  • Verify the item has stock (if stock tracking is enabled)
  • Confirm the category is active
  • Clear your browser cache and reload

Orders not appearing on KDS

Problem: Orders submitted from POS don't show on the kitchen display.

Solutions:

  • Check that both devices are connected to the internet
  • Verify the KDS is connected to the same business/location
  • Try refreshing the KDS page
  • Check if WebSocket connection is active (green indicator)

Receipt printer not working

Problem: Receipts are not printing after payment.

Solutions:

  • Verify the printer is powered on and connected
  • Check the printer connection in Settings > Receipt Printer
  • Print a test page from the settings
  • Ensure the printer has paper loaded
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable

Customer Menu Issues

QR code not opening menu

Problem: Customer scans QR code but menu doesn't load.

Solutions:

  • Verify your internet connection
  • Check that the table exists and is active
  • Try generating a new QR code for the table
  • Test the QR code URL directly in a browser

Menu showing wrong language

Problem: Customer menu appears in the wrong language.

Solutions:

  • Use the language selector at the top of the menu
  • Check browser language settings
  • Verify that translations exist for all menu items

Connection Issues

Offline mode activated unexpectedly

Problem: POS shows offline mode when internet should be working.

Solutions:

  • Check your Wi-Fi or network connection
  • Try loading another website to verify connectivity
  • Refresh the POS page
  • If using a VPN, try disconnecting it

Slow performance

Problem: The admin panel or POS feels slow.

Solutions:

  • Clear browser cache and cookies
  • Close unnecessary browser tabs
  • Check your internet speed
  • Try a different browser

Account Issues

Cannot log in

Problem: Password or PIN not working.

Solutions:

  • Ensure you're using the correct email address
  • Try resetting your password via the login page
  • For PIN login, verify the PIN with your manager
  • Check if your account has been deactivated

Staff invitation not received

Problem: Invited staff member didn't get the email.

Solutions:

  • Check the spam/junk folder
  • Verify the email address is correct
  • Resend the invitation from Staff > Invitations
  • The invitation may have expired (resend if needed)
