Set up loyalty tiers and create rewards
Loyalty Tiers
Tiers reward your most loyal customers with better benefits. Customers advance through tiers based on their total spending or points earned.
Default Tiers
| Tier | Requirement | Benefit |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 0 points | Base earning rate |
| Silver | 500 points | 1.5x points earning |
| Gold | 2000 points | 2x points earning |
| Platinum | 5000 points | 2.5x points earning |
Customizing Tiers
- Go to Settings > Loyalty > Tiers
- Edit tier names, thresholds, and multipliers
- Add or remove tiers as needed
- Save
Rewards Catalog
Create rewards that customers can redeem with their points.
Creating a Reward
- Go to Loyalty > Rewards
- Click New Reward
- Enter:
- Name - What the reward is (e.g., "Free Coffee")
- Points Cost - How many points to redeem
- Description - Details about the reward
- Available - Whether the reward is currently active
- Click Create
Reward Types
| Type | Example |
|---|---|
| Free Item | Free coffee, free dessert |
| Discount | 10% off next order |
| Fixed Amount | $5 off next order |
Redeeming Rewards
At the POS:
- Link a customer to the order
- Tap Redeem Reward
- Available rewards appear based on the customer's points
- Select a reward to apply it
- Points are deducted from the customer's balance
Managing the Program
Viewing Statistics
The loyalty dashboard shows:
- Total enrolled customers
- Points issued this month
- Rewards redeemed this month
- Tier distribution
Pausing the Program
To temporarily pause the loyalty program:
- Go to Settings > Loyalty
- Toggle Loyalty Program off
- Points stop being earned but balances are preserved
