Understanding the OXOCO Point of Sale interface

Interface Layout

The OXOCO POS is divided into three main areas:

Left Panel - Tables & Order Type

Select a table from the floor plan, or choose Takeaway or Delivery. The panel shows table status with color coding:

  • Green - Available
  • Orange - Occupied
  • Red - Needs attention

Center - Menu

Browse categories and items. Categories appear as tabs across the top, with items displayed as tappable cards below.

Right Panel - Cart

The current order items, quantities, modifiers, and running total. This is where you review and submit orders.

Starting a New Order

  1. Select a table or choose an order type (Dine-in, Takeaway, Delivery)
  2. Browse the menu and tap items to add them
  3. Review the cart on the right
  4. Tap Send to Kitchen to submit

Device Support

The POS works on:

  • Tablets (recommended for daily use)
  • Desktop browsers
  • Phones (compact layout)

The interface adapts automatically to your screen size.

Offline Mode

If your internet connection drops, the POS continues working:

  • Orders are queued locally
  • Items and prices are cached
  • When connection restores, queued orders sync automatically
